Streamed Mass from Bridport

Dear Friends
We are pleased to say that from Sunday, 29th March the 10am Sunday Mass (as well as the Easter Triduum) will be live-steamed on Facebook.  Look for our parish page: Bridport Catholic Parish (https://www.facebook.com/Bridport-Catholic-Parish-108337097481290) and click on the live-feed.  These services will be saved and available on the page if you wish to view them at a different time.
If you haven’t got Facebook, it’s easy to set up (even I managed with help from a parishioner on the phone).  Hopefully,  someone in your household or a friend on the phone can help you to do this.
God bless
Fr Keith

ALL SERVICES SUSPENDED

We live in  amazing times.  I would never have believed when I arrived nearly 7 months ago,  that I would be letting you know today that the Bishops of England & Wales have suspended all public services in response to the Coronavirus outbreak.  At a time like this it is important for us to celebrate our faith and our fellowship with one another by our common prayer for our country, our church and each other.  I will celebrate Mass privately in the church in Bridport at 10 am each day for you all.  Please unite yourself in offering that Mass with me, if you can, from wherever you are.  That sense of communion is as important to me as I know it will be to you.  We shall be posting details on how to access streamed Masses and make a “spiritual communion”  and the Diocese will be providing a time of prayer each weekday at 4.30pm.  You can find more details  on the website through the weekly newsletter shortly.

We shall be keeping Bridport and Chideock churches open for prayer each day.  On Tuesdays and Thursdays Beaminster church will be open between 11 and 12 for anyone who wants to come in and pray.

If you have any concerns or just want to talk, please contact Fr Keith on 01308 424754 or Deacon Mark on 07530 710880.  The Parish Office will continue to be open Tuesday-Friday mornings 01308 422594

May the Lord bless each of us during this testing time.

Fr Keith
