Normal Mass Times

The normal routine for Mass in the week is as follows:

10am on Sunday at Bridport

Noon on Tuesday at Bridport

10am on Wednesday at Beaminster

10am on Thursday at Bridport

10am on Friday at Chideock.

9:30am on Saturday at Bridport, with Confession at 9am.

The First Mass of Sunday is on Saturday at 6pm, moving between the 3 churches; Beaminster on the first and third Saturday of the month, Chideock on the second and fourth Saturday of the month, and when there is a fifth Saturday of the month, at Bridport.

HOWEVER THE ROUTINE SOMETIMES HAS TO BE CHANGED, SO PLEASE DO CHECK IN THE NEWSLETTER FOR THE CURRENT WEEK’S TIMETABLE.

Profile of Parish Priest

Fr Richard MeyerThe Priest of Bridport Catholic Parish is Fr Richard Meyer. He was brought up in the Church of England and served in its ordained ministry for over 20 years. He is a qualified teacher. He became a Catholic in 1994 and was ordained Priest in 2002. Fr Richard was Chaplain of the Catholic School for Girls at Leweston, Sherborne until 2010 when the Bishop asked him to move to Bridport Parish. His home and office is by the Parish Church in Bridport (01308 424 754). Fr Richard was married to Jan (who died in February 2014) and has 2 children and 5 grandchildren.
